We are facilitating a call to action. All those who are from Pomigliano d’Arco, Napoli are encouraged to join Figli di Pomigliano d’Arco.

The club’s elected President, Antonio Ceriello

As you and your loved ones gather around your dinner tables this Christmas, we urge you to ask if anyone is from Pomigliano d’Arco and to find out if you know anyone whose family can trace their ancestral roots to this town. This society is based in Brooklyn, New York as the Italians who came to America mostly settled in Brownsville/East New York. As they dispersed, the society was founded to maintain relationships between friends and family. (Learn more: https://www.fdpda.org/).

This past November, Figli Pomigliano d’Arco celebrated their annual holiday party at Russo’s on the Bay in Howard Beach, Queens. The club’s elected President, Antonio Ceriello, gave an encouraging speech in which he shed light on the society’s mission to continue to grow and seek out others from his ancestral town who can further bolster the ranks of the society but also find a place of commonality in America despite geographic location. This was a call to action for all people from this town in Italy to connect with Figli di Pomigliano d’Arco in the United States in order to grow a community within the United States of people who hail from this magnificent town in Italy.

This year, the man of the year award was given to Albert Zirino, founder of ANZ Engineering, for his dedication to the mission of Figli di Pomigliano d’Arco and being a well-rounded Italian American who can serve as a generational success story to others in the community.
