North End Boston

Boston’s North End is a neighborhood in Massachusetts and it is known for being the city’s oldest residential communities. It is located northeast of the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway, with the outlet of the Charles and Mystic Rivers to the North and Boston Harbor to the east. The town has a variety of tourist attractions and it is also known for its Italian American population and Italian restaurants. The North End is also home to Saint Leonard Church, which is the first Roman Catholic Church in New England built by Italian immigrants. Saint Leonard’s is known to many visitors for its Saint Anthony shrine located in the downstairs church. St Anthony’s feast and Madonna Della Cava feast are some of the Italian festivals held in North End Boston.
