Jerome Park

Jerome Park bordered Marble Hill, the New York Botanic Gardens, Fordham, Norwood, and Kingsbridge. Although the Italian presence is not what it used to be, Italians made a major impact on Jerome Park through their contributions of work. Italian immigrants participated in the construction projects for the Bronx Zoo and the Jerome Park Reservoir. A notable Italian establishment is Rocco’s Pizzeria.
