Bloomfield
Bloomfield is a neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is located three miles from the downtown area. Bloomfield is sometimes referred to as Pittsburgh’s “Little Italy” because it was settled by Italians and has been a center of Italian–American population. Lately it has attracted many young adults and college students. Our Lady of the angels and St. Maria Goretti Parishes serve the residents in Bloomfield neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods. St. Valentine Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church are also located in Bloomfield. Bloomfield is a diversified religious community.
