Flatlands

The neighborhood of Flatlands borders Bergen Beach, Old Mil Basin, Canarsie, East Flatbush, and Midwood. There has been an Italian presence in this neighborhood since the early 20^th century but saw its peak Italian per capita reached in the mid-20^th century. The neighborhood is no longer an Italian neighborhood and it hasn’t been since the 1980’s.
